National Latino Cancer Summit

Since 2008 LCC has convened the National Latino Cancer Summit to turn the spotlight on research and issues of concerned focused on the Latino community.

The Summit provides us with the opportunity to bring researchers, advocates, patients, clinician and other providers together to network, collaborate and learn from each other.

In 2014, the 4th Summit explored The Affordable Care Act and The Latino Cancer Landscape: Impact on Policy, Research, and Treatment.

Dr J Leonard Lichtenfeld, MD, MACP, Deputy Chief Medical Officer for the National Office of the American Cancer Society was the keynote speaker and posted a blog on his experience.
