LCC provides the only Spanish language psychosocial support group for cancer patients and their families in Santa Clara County. The topics covered in the support group include specific health questions, discussion related to the problems that cancer patients face like depression and sexuality, how to communicate among family and with the doctor, and classes on meditation, yoga, nutrition and other healthy survival tips.

In addition to the support group and patient navigation, LCC provides one on one patient counseling, resources and referrals.
Latinas Contra Cancer is receiving an increasing number of requests from Mexico, Central and Latin American countries to help with cancer patient support and expenses for treatment. Unfortunately we depend on small grants to keep our work going and regret that we are unable to respond to those requests at this time.
