Círculo de Vida provides an invaluable and unparalleled service to Latinos living with cancer and their loved ones, most of them immigrants, low-income, and without health insurance as they navigate an illness and an increasingly complex medical system. Círculo’s experienced staff help translate for the patient and physician at the time of diagnosis, offer in-hospital and in-home support during surgery and treatment, provide a wide range of Spanish-language support groups for the patients and their children, as well as case management, resource referrals and in-home support for the terminally ill.

Liga Contra el Cancer provides free medical care to needy cancer patients. More than 350 Florida physicians, who are board-certified in their specialties, volunteer their services to the League against Cancer. The Latino Health Promoters Program was started in 1993 and serves communities with high concentration of Latinos. The goal of the Program is to educate dedicated community volunteers on different health topics and support them in their effort to keep fellow community members healthy through screenings and health information.
SHARE creates and sustains a supportive network and community of women affected by breast or ovarian cancer. All the services are free of charge. They provide telephone support, support groups, educational programs, and advocacy activities.

The Women’s Health Resource Center provides women a location to obtain current health information and resources for health and well- being through classes, individual health consultations and support groups. The center provides supportive care for women with cancer, women in mid-life and beyond.
The Childhood Cancer Prevention and Screening Clinic provides centralized cancer screening services for children with hereditary cancer predisposition syndromes and other conditions that increase the risk of childhood cancer. . Screenings consist of longitudinal assessments including interviews, physical exams, laboratory testing, and imaging.
MD Anderson’s Nellie B. Connally Breast Center treats every type of breast cancer with latest treatments, including personalized therapies based on the cancer specific genetic makeup. Special clinics focus on caring for patients with particular needs, including woman with inflammatory breast caner and young women.
Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center delivers culturally and linguistically appropriate services to residents of southern Alameda County. The center believes in holistic view and more than a prescription to promote good health. RETO, located in Mexico City, helps woman with breast cancer to regain their physical and emotional health in order to be integrated into their normal family, working and social lives. RETO provides services ranging from rehabilitation, educational programs, chemotherapy, diagnostic center, and support groups.

WCRC has an array of services designed to help cope with the physical and emotional changed caused by treatment, the disease, and the challenges of caring for someone with cancer.
